Aurelia - love it
Elodie - not keen
Winifred - not keen either, it's a bit "old"
Camilla - Not bad, quite posh sounding
Verity - don't like it. It's the name of the PCOS charity and it's all I think of now when i hear it!
Christobel - It's ok
Matilda - Like it
Elsa - It's ok
Rowena - Like it
Philomena - Don't like it
Eugenia - Like it

Camilla- very posh but not unpleasant
Verity- chalet school

I like Elodie.

I think Camilla has been spoiled forever by her affair with Charles...

Jamieandhismagictorch · 23/08/2010 05:17

I love Elodie, Christobel and Matilda

I find Aurelia a bit posh for my taste
Winifred a bit ugly
Verity a bit spiky
Elsa quite nice
Camilla - objectively nice, but linked with Charles and ...
Rowena- not very pretty name
Philomena - ditto
Eugenia - bit posh for my taste, and not very pretty

theagedparent · 23/08/2010 09:17

I like Winifred the best nn Winnie

poglette · 23/08/2010 09:57

I think 'Philomena' is a lovely name, especially when pronounced the Italian/French instead of Irish way, with an 'ayna' instead of an 'eena'
Second favourite would be Camilla I suppose, but not so unusual

Aurelia - think of Love Actually, not terribly keen
Elodie - ok
Winifred - ok, could be great, not sure
Camilla - PB has ruined it for me
Verity - Seems a bit aspirational for my taste
Christobel - quite like
Matilda - Too many Tillys, prefer Mattie as nm/shortening
Elsa - the lion, actually think it's ok
Rowena - have only known uber posh with this name which alters my view, ok
Philomena - ok
Eugenia - don't like.
