Elegant, classic, timeless girls names?

I want to give my daughter an elegant, timeless name. Names like poppy, maisy etc are adorable but i can't imagine them for a grown woman. I really love the names Emma, Laura and Charlotte but i know so many or there's already one in the family so i'm looking for similar names which are a little bit less common.

Already mentioned but my fave classic name at the moment is Susanna. And Susie is cute. Not even in top 1000 but we'll known.

CheerfulYank · 10/02/2015 05:31

I've got a Margaret and I love it. :) She's Maggie mostly but she is quite a handful so she gets the full name fairly often too!

CheerfulYank · 10/02/2015 05:32

Also I've just realized this thread is five years old. Confused

WhatKatyDidToday · 10/02/2015 05:59

Ooooh- I hope we find out what she was actually called in the end!

Abigail is lovely imo

YouNerrNoothinJonSnerr · 10/02/2015 11:44

Yes, Erica, Elouise, Abigail and Elsa all lovely. I've always loved the name Elsa - it was top of my list when I was PG 23 years ago, but I had a boy. It's very elegant and under-used. Although I doubt it will stay unusual for long with the Frozen thing going on now.
