I know a Marnie and she's just Marnie - not a NN afaik.

I love Marnie, cannot think what it would be short for. I know the Hitchcock movie too but thats soooo long ago it wouldn't bother me. But DH dislikes it anyway lol!

Marnie/Marni can be a nickname for Marina or Marmara.

I know a "Marnie" but they spell it Mani. Real name.

Marnie is my given name. The only shortening I have heard is from 'Only Fools And Horses'. Del calles Marlene Marnie
