Who's actually pregnant and who's just nuts?

I am 41 and my children are 19 and 10 and I have no intention of having any more. However, I love names and baby names and will very happily weigh in. I'm very pleased to have had sons but would have had so much fun choosing girls' names!

I really should work more or watch more TV!

Pregnant. We cannot come up with a single boys name!

whilst I'm in the right company what's the consensus (sp?) on first names and surnames beginning with same Letter? First name being Ruby?

We have been debating this one too moonminmama but ours is an O.

Some people love it, others hate it. We are also wondering whether Ruby is a name that would suit all ages in particular a 30 year old woman?

If you're not pregnant and you start a thread on Baby Names you are probably nuts.

But I think non-pregnant people are allowed to weigh in with their comments, ranging from 'Oh how beautiful' to 'WFT are you thinking?', and their comments are equally valid and less hormonally influenced

Both! Due on Wednesday, but the name was decided on when I was pg with DS in case he was a girl. [grin

It's a brilliant chance to be as judgy as hell, because the OPs haven't actually committed to the name yet - so there's no harm in saying "NO NO NO You Cannot Call Your Daughter Chlamydia! you total idiot!" without feeling the need to pussyfoot around.

Nuts! But in my defence we are actively planning to TTC #2 soon(ish) and I like looking for inspiration for my 'list'! (And of course wading in with my opinion every now & then )

Pregnant, and was quite relieved to discover after DS was born that I lost interest in the baby name threads as I had suspected that I might be nuts. Expecting DC2 and my baby name habit has returned. Love it though. Gives me a chance to get my judgey pants out.

I'm pregnant, but always been a bit obsessed by baby names - worse so in last few years when friends started having kids and started "stealing" all the names I liked!

So now, i'm keeping a bit more schtum!

I'm 32 and my DC are 4, 6 and nearly 8 so I suppose theoretically there could be another one in the future... but its unlikely!

I just love discussing names.

I am both - I am pregnant but I used this board while ttc too because love thinking about baby names. Ironically we decided on ours very quickly so not much need of it now but still check it every day!
