Anxious new parents with poorly baby

Looking for any recommendations from stressed out and sleep deprived parents like me!

Our little one choked when she was 12 hours old because of excess mucous. For the first few weeks we were nervous wrecks, didn't want to take our eyes off her.
Just as we were starting to relax, she's now 3 weeks old and we think she has reflux. She's spitting up and has choked on it multiple times. We've got the health visitor coming on Friday, but our nerves are shot and we're back to doing shift work so that one of us is always awake to watch her.

We're looking at the Snuza Hero monitor, or Owlet sock, but we're not sure which one to go for? Anyone have any experience of either one? Will either of these actually alert us fast enough? We don't want to have to wait minutes for an alarm that comes too late!

Thanks ❤️

My baby has silent reflux and chokes on sick sometimes. It's just liquid though, there's no danger I wouldn't think. It's just uncomfortable, we pick him up and it goes away. We got used to holding him up after a feed so it doesn't happen that often. And we're always right next to him so we can react fast.

We have the nanit, which we love, it has some great functions. Re alert times, any monitor will be too late really. They're pretty pointless from that pov.

We have the owlet, because DS2 was on NICU and still had problems with we were discharged. It alarmed when he was swallowing vitamins, which was the same thing that sent his oxygen stats plummeting at the hospital, which gave me some comfort about its quality even if it was bad to hear. It wasn't instantaneous, but it was fast. It's shown his oxygen was low (but not dangerously low to alarm) when he was ill enough to be readmitted to hospital, it shows his heart rate is elevated when he has a fever.

Another Owlet vote here. Ours alerts pretty quickly and seems pretty accurate.
