Coeliac disease - symptoms after being glutened

I'm curious what people's symptoms are. My son is 5 years old and after just cross contamination my son will be sick 15 time within a 2 hour window whilst fainting, more often than not ending up in A&E.
Although he will always have coeliac disease, I am hoping the sickness may subside with age as his stomach grows stronger with age.

DD16. Rarely glutened now but her belly bloats to look heavily pregnant, foul wind, nausea, exhausted, stomach and joint pain, blisters on fingertips. But the big sign is she will wet the bed which adds insult to injury. She will not eat anything that has even the slightest risk of cross contamination when out. Travelled Thailand and America with no problem. Worst case of glutening was a Belgium centre parks, where the chef had personally taken her around the buffet and provided food for her - so sometimes it's unavoidable however careful you are.

@junebirthdaygirl yes I was 60 too when it came on . I had all these weird neurological issues, spacey feeling, buzzing in fingers and calves, pins and needles in feet, awful back of head headaches , burning sensation on forehead - really awful stuff, was convinced I had MS - saw a neuro privately about 6 weeks later after bloods etc, and she said not likely at all as at my age would usually involve falls etc as doesn’t tend to be relapsing remitting if much older. Her first suggestion was to up vit D which was borderline, beta blockers for the headaches, deep breathing techniques and go gluten free for 6 months. After a week of gluten free I noticed an immediate difference - I never really got the stomache aspects, just the neuro ones. Once gluten free it all receded over about 4 months. Asa tester I then did a week where I ate gluten, it all came back but not as bad as before . As you say quite bizzare and covid ( possibly the vaccine too as I had both quite close together ) definitely seemed to be the trigger. My H doesn’t eat totally gluten free but does a fair bit , because of what I make.
