So i have psoriasis and all of the toes on one of my foot are swollen and painful. Went to the doctor 3 times and on the last time she basically said i think its psoriatic arthritis but i'm not referring you until any bigger joints are involved, and that was that.
I was so put off by this that i just don’t want to go back to the GP but i now have other symptoms. One of my knees is now affected and is often warm and swollen (this pain is manageable though)
What I am struggling with though isn’t the joint problems. The last few weeks i keep getting hot flushes, where my cheeks go bright red and i feel hot and shaky and just generally weird. It goes away after about half an hour. Thinking about it, it seems to happen more when i eat or drink but maybe that’s just coincidence. i also get some mild stomach pains around my pelvis (3 years post c section so probably normal?) but last week i had weird poo that looked like it had red blobs of jelly in it 😬 I am 39 with regular periods so i don’t think menopause related but it is possible.
Anyway i know i have to go back to the GP but honestly the thought of explaining this to the receptionist and then to the GP just for them to tell me to go away again is just too depressing! Does anyone have these symptoms, is it all linked to PA?
