Coeliac Disease - IgA Deficiency

Would be very grateful if anyone can offer some advice following a new Coeliac disease diagnosis.

Do the standard coeliac screen blood tests in the UK also test for total IgA levels to exclude IgA deficiency please? Should this show as 'total IgA' on your blood results?

My reason for asking is following a recent diagnosis of Coeliac Disease for me, our child who has been having recurrent GI and other symptoms had a coeliac screen blood test and the tTg-IgA came back negative (which of course is good news). Am still a bit worried though as the test results don't show a total IgA result and I've read that some people with Coeliac Disease can have IgA deficiency so the tTg-IgA can give a false negative. We did ask our GP but they didn't seem to know if a total IgA is done. Thank you for any advice!

1)Certainly at our hospital lab, IgA levels are automatically checked when requesting a coeliac screen.
2)A gluten free diet is the only treatment for coeliac disease.
