Currently trying to become pregnant after being diagnosed with Hashimotos. TSH 9.1 and TPO antibodies 144. Curious as to whether those in the same boat managed to conceive ok and have a healthy pregnancy with a healthy baby? Just started taking 50mcg of levothyroxine

I have two kids - I was 37 and 40 when they were born and was diagnosed at about 30.

key thing is that your thyroxine dose needs to go up once you are pregnant so see a doctor when you get a positive result. It will be monitored as the pregnancy progresses.

fwiw I eat gluten and have never been told to avoid it or dairy close to when I take my tablets.
