Methotrexate - Anyone used it?

I am due to go on this and I've been wondering if it has actually helped anyone feel better, or worse? I don't really know anything about it and google isn't that helpful.

I’m on it for severe eczema and have been for several years. It’s been a miracle drug for me. No side effects. No downsides so far at all. My eczema is under control. No burning or itching. No swelling or awful hives like rash. Bloody amazing!

Thanks everyone, it's been a eye-opener. All the information I've googled was as varied as all your answers lol, but at least I now know it actually is pot luck whether it's good or not.

I'm very nervous about taking it since it lowers your immune system as I suffer from a lung condition too. I've only just got over my covid fear

I take it for rheumatoid arthritis, I'm supposed to take 8, but take 6, if I take 8 I feel sick. Quite by accident my pain is considerably less by taking magnesium gynicate.

I know you're taking it for a different condition but I found it helped my immune system a lot by regulating it more so it was no longer going crazy. I never got a single bug while I was on methotrexate but it's when I've been on steroids (with no other treatment) that I've picked up bugs frequently

changed my life, my severe eczema completely cleared up on it
