adalimubab - colitis, psoriasis

Does anyone know about adalimubab biologic treatment for colitis and it possibly causing psoriasis rash on the back and torso? DP has nearly had all required injections and was doing very well but last few days nearing the final injection he's come out in what looks like a psoriasis rash. Not sure if this will subside or if it's looking like he might need to try another biologic, he was on azorhioprqne which was horrendous so we were really hoping this would work and looks to be until this rash appeared....

GPs say they have resubmitted the 2WW referral with the info required and should hear next from the hospital. Fingers crossed. How stressful.

Sorry feel like I have hijacked this thread rather. Hopefully it will just turn out to be some kind of rash, but best to get checked properly I guess.

Thanks, they have sent for tests- an ultrasound and biopsy of the lymph nodes so just waiting for that to come through now. x

@Orangesandlemons77 I hope everything will be ok, do you know roughly when the results may be due back?

My DH avdalimabub sorry I can't spell it doesn't seem to be working, he's had his bloods taken, waiting results and seeing the nurse in a weeks time for review but we think he might need to go on something else as he's had a really rough week last week such a shame he was doing so well too x

He hasn't had the appointment date yet so might be a while yet. Hopefully not too long.

Sorry to hear about the humira not working (think that is the same one) hopefully something else might. Sounds stressful :-(

My DH stopped responding to adalimamab too, so now having infusions which is difficult as he is needle phobic. It's tough on the whole family. That sounds awful and we really support him it is just so consuming.
