Anyone know exactly who will be offered a 3rd vaccination in the UK?

Would being on biologics fit the criteria?

Aargh, I think the link still not working.

Here are a couple of old fashioned screenshots instead.

I’ve heard nothing and my GP knew nothing about it and insisted I must be referring to the booster. I despair sometimes 🙄

Just got a text from my hospital asking me to come in for a third vaccine. Yay!

I have just received a text from GP saying they are running clinics for the 3rd vaccine and to phone if I wanted one

Glad to hear people are beginning to be offered their third vaccine!

I managed to speak to consultant (gastroenterology) regarding timing of Covid vaccination when Infliximab.

The advice for me is to time the Covid jab to avoid the two weeks before and two weeks after an infusion.

So for an eight week infusion cycle, that leaves the four weeks in the middle to have a covid vaccination and hopefully get a good response from it.

Hope this info might help other people in my situation. I've just booked my third vaccination for tomorrow. Smile

I've had a bloody nightmare with my GP Practice around this. (I did post on another thread but it seems to have died ...)

I'm going to be raising it formally with the CCG and the NHS Trust now. My 'patient experience' has been utterly appalling in every way, and the GP Practice has been extremely gaslighty over its wilful refusal to accept that the 3rd primary jab for the severely immune suppressed and the general booster jab for a much wider population are, as the Health Secretary stressed today, separate.

Fortunately I have emails.

So many patients will have been misled and fobbed off over the phone.
