Husbands been given Salofalk enema but it's making him go more than before he took it!! Is this normal, he's only tried it twice and has not taken to it well at all and wants to stop using it, is that normal and if so does it get better?? He's been so many times this evening since taking it and cannot get out of the bathroom 😰

@LoveFall sorry for such a late reply it's been a hectic couple of wks 🥵 the entyvio sounds amazing! I've told him about it so he can mention to his consultant! It seems the joint flares are a common thing as many people have said same thing above, he's been a lot better thankfully, but is armed with a lot more info thanks to everyone's so helpful replies!! Thank you so much again! X x x

@itscomplicatedlife

You are more than welcome. UC is such a literal pain I want to help a fellow sufferer as much as I can.

I hope your husband is feeling better. I don't know the rules about Entyvio in England. It is allowed in Canada if you have tried the other non-biologics or are prednisone dependent. I could not get off prednisone for long without flaring. It was a nightmare to be honest. Entyvio got me out of it.

Take care. Look after yourself too. I know my DH has found my disease challenging and gets disappointed if I can't do something because I am exhausted or don't want to be far from the loo. It's hard on you both.Smile
