High Free Thyroxine (T4) but TSH normal - anyone know what this means?

I've had a private blood test that shows my TSH and T3 as normal, but my Free Thyroxine (T4) is too high.

I've used Google but can't find out what this means on it's own - usually if the T4 is too high then the TSH is too high or too low (forgotten which now).

Anyone else had this or know what it means?

Any other issues your experiencing? Also ideally need RT3 tested in this case.

What is the reading for your TSH, you say normal - but it’s quite a large range and often even in “normal” range can be an indication of what’s happening?

I would join the thyroid group on Health Unlocked if you haven't already. Loads of really knowledgable posters there and I've found it really helpful in the past. If you post your results with the reference ranges I'm sure you'll get lots of advice.
