Any fellow sufferers? I have Colitis along with other illnesses and a lady on another thread has Crohns and is really suffering by the sounds of it. I decided to start this thread and hopefully she will find it. It would be great if other sufferers could join us and compare meds, symptoms, etc.

Might be because milk and ice cream have lactose in much higher amounts than chocolate and butter - or hard cheese, because it's broken down by the enzyme lactase, so you could be lactose intolerant?

I definitely get a stomach ache from milk, yoghurt or soft cheese, so I think I do too. Shame as I love kefir made with milk and it's full of good bacteria

agh kefir! I really like it, (and that yoghurt drink, cant remember the name) was more than willing to give it a go, however, pass me the chilled loo roll! ffs, that was a difficult few days.

I had a really bad morning and end up with really bad back pains. Really close to not coming into work but I am so busy it would cause more stress if I missed a day. I have got that CBD oil and used it this morning. Now it might be that the pain and stomach problems eased off themselves or that getting up and about sorted it but I'm feeling much better now and its possible that the CBD oil helped.

I'm going to try it over the coming weeks to see if I can figure out if it is actually helping or if it is just my crohns flaring and then getting better itself.

Greetings to my fellow sufferers! I was diagnosed with UC in 1998 and have essentially tried most medicines (unsuccessfully). Remicade worked for 2 years and have been on Humira for about 4. I’m about to be switched over to the and am slightly nervous as there’s not much else left.

That should be “biosimilar”
