I am overweight and have been feeling more knackered than usual so got the Medichecks Thyroid Ultra test done My results are TSH 4.32 (0.27-4.20) Free T4 - 16.9 (12-22) Free T3 - 4.53 (3.10-6.8) Thyroglobulin ab - <10 (0-115) T Peroxidase ab - 18.1 (0-34) B12 -121 (25-165) Folate - 5.5 (2.91 -50) Ferritin - 32.5 (13-150) CRP - 2.65 (0-5) So TSH is a bit above reference range and Folate and Ferritin are at the lower end of the scale. I have some antibodies but within the reference range. In your experience will the GP consider a thyroid issue at this stage? I am overweight and my eyebrows have thinned a bit on the outside but I am also 48 so probably peri-menopausal. However, I am just as likely to feel too hot as too cold. The folate and ferritin may be linked to taking antacids as I suffer from heartburn quite a lot. I haven't made a GP's appointment yet.
