Artists - how do you display your pictures at craft fairs, etc?

DH and I are hoping to do our second ever fair soon, selling his prints.

The first one we did was very small and low-key and we just propped his art up on tables / chairs etc.

This time we'd like something a bit more sturdy (and professional perhaps!) - so how do you do it? Any advice very gratefully received.

Thank you

A friend of mine displayed their artwork by getting large boards of ply wood and covering in black felt.

They then positioned the artwork and hung on the boards. It really looked great, although I'm not sure if this would work for you.

Thanks KA.

We had thought about doing something with plywood. Felt is a good idea. Did he / she then just lean the plywood against something, or if not how was it kept upright? (We will be outside so have the otion of driving some stakes into the ground - sounds like hard work though..!)

She did have a market stall thing (metal framed thing IFYWIM?) and they were propped up against that.

There was padding material between the plywood and felt - wadding I think it's called?

Even a few wallpaper tables positioned with boards in front of them would be effective?

Thanks KA. We shall experiment!
