What's your crafting nemesis?

Bias binding has got the better of me over recent months, I've got a pile of 14 forlorn looking dribble bibs that were nearly amazing, but were scuppered by bloody bias binding. I really struggle with it, don't know why but I just do. But am feeling very pleased with myself tonight as have just finished big frilly pants for dd with successful bias binding around the legs. What is your crafting nemesis?

Sewing the arms on things, I love knitting the Jean Greenhowe dolls and animals but I cock it up everytime when it comes to sewing on the arms!

oh don't say that about the BB please!!! I'm tackling it for the first time this weekend and if I mess it up the whole dress will be shite!
Angry Chicken does a great tutorial here though she doesn't go around any corners! I will follow. Fingers crossed for me.

BUTTONHOLES - I still try to avoid making stuff with buttonholes - though I can do the auto ones OK. I think my problem is I rush them. For years I got Mum to do them for me - but now I'm a big girl of 42 (and more to the point live across the globe) I have to do my own.

Sewing with stretch fabrics - invariably my machine doens't like it. I actually want to do a course on how to sew stretch fabrics on a regular sewing machine, without it/me having a hissy fit. Anyone know of any good ones?

Zips - I can never get them to lie down. Getting my points to match up when making patchwork blocks for quilts - they are always just 'off' but I can't ever face ripping them apart again. My quilts are flawed as a result but I love 'em!

heatherbailey.typepad.com/photos/continuous_quiltbinding/index.html is good for binding but don't know if it is just for quilts or would work for clothing too.
