Ask in a wool shop or sewing shop for classes.

Brother are good. I have the cheap one from Argos (about £70) and it's fine. I did drool over one in a local shop that was about £215 and fantastically gorgeous, but decided I couldn't justify it.

Most sewing shops will offer classes, just ask.

I only make simple things like cushion covers and bags, but I have had admiring comments at DS's nursery about his bag there that I made, and the sewing is wobbly as anything on it!

Rhian the sewing is never perfect on shop bought items either unless you buy couture.

i think you might be setting a new trent in nursery bags now.
