Vintage Travel Posters - what frames & mounts?

I've had 3 French vintage travel posters for ages and haven't yet got them framed. I have just found an online company who can customise whatever you want but I'm phasd as to what frame (probably thin and black) and whether they require a mount or not.
Each print has a white border around the artwork.
What looks good when framing vintage prints?
Also, the compnay ask you to measure the exact size of the picture and if you have a border to the art, measure the exact size of picture with border that you want to show the mount. I'm not sure if I need a mount at all but if I do, what colour mount? Would a thicker, silver frame look better than thin black? Sorry for long post!

If you just want a plain thin black mount, any framers should be able to do a good job, so you could go in and play with mounts etc if there's one vaguely local to you.

FWIW, I'd probably go for a couple of inch thick ivory or white border, nothing fancy, but if the posters have a lot of white on them I might opt for black (in which case the black frame might look wanky. See why it's good to go to a framing shop and play around?)

Hmmm thanks Hopefully. My main thoughts were whether they need a mount when they've got the white border around the print? Guess I can't tell without looking. Will have a look for local framers but can't think of any nearby. I'm guessing they'll be much more pricey though.
