£2.50 for the jams
£2 for the fudge
, sounds yummy.

wow, really?

I was hoping i could say £1.20 the prices you suggest would certainly be much better, if people will pay them

ought to say the jams are made in recyckled jars so thought some people might want to pay less?

The fudge is in little bags of 150g - would just about fill a tea cup

Maybe it depends on where you live - i'm in the southeast and I think the prices are said are what i normally pay for womens Institute stalls on the market.

I would be happier to have recycled jars (perhaps with a nice label - they have them in lakeland) as it's an eco-bonus to me to have that.

also, I presume the money or part of it is going towards the playschool? another reason that I would pay more.

thanks, we are in west kent on the outskirts of a posh town

i have made nice labels for the jars, and they have those frilly covers on the lids

the preschool are charging me for the stall, £5 so anything i make is mine. I think they thought it was more guaranteed to charge us for the stall than charge a percentage.

maybe i'll aim for somewhere in the middle of those prices then maybe £1.50 for the fudge and £1.75/2 for the preserves. I would rather sell the lot for a bit less than sell a few at a higher price.

Or could try the prices suggested and always drop them if no interest.

have worked out the jam/marmalade has cost approx 70p a jar to make and the fudge about 50p so i dont want to be too greedy - but we are a bit skint at the moment which was part of my reason for doing it. Am hoping it will go towards xmas pressies
