nappy wrap/longies *knitting* pattern anyone?

I have a found a knitter [£2 a ball to make up - seemed very good to me?] so I just need a pattern!?

Does anyone know where I would get patterns for

  • a nappy wrap/cover/soaker
  • nappy longies [although an American site charges $15 to download but just wondered]
  • skort/skortie - would love with long legs too.

Don't want much do I? Any advice would be great. Have looked in a few books but nothing in them, and the lasies in the wool shop didn't know about them. Any one bought patterns anywhere? or downloadedthem?

Cheers.

I knitted loads of soakers but my nappy days are over and I gave the patterns away.
There are tons of free patterns on the internet if you just google.
Some nappy websites sell the wool and will supply patterns.
No-one in a knitting shop ANYWHERE will have heard of them - we soaker knitters are a very rare breed

I can only seem to find the nappy shaped ones, and i really fancy the long egs etc. Have found some patterns but they are £15 which is quite a lot I think.

Ready knitted are £35.
Thanks for your help

plenty on etsy dot com if you search for wool longies pattern.
I made them out of old jumpers as they were thicker and I'm a slow knitter.

ohhh email me and i will send you some money also i have some patterns here as i had the dream of being able to knit them LMAO

Done.

Did think of trying to knit them myself then realised there are 4 loads of washing to be put away, quickly, so I have somewhere to put the other 2 loads that are drying. So knitting seems fairly unlikely!

Check this out

skort

Bubs is too young for bare legs but I thought a knitter type person could just...er...invent some.
