I shrunk DPs cashmere jumper, can I use it to (try and) make dolls clothes?

I've heard that it won't fray at all if it's shrunken. I'm hoping it's true, the colour would really suit DDs doll and it would seem a shame to throw it out...

I washed it a 30 degrees, will it be totally shrunken or do I need to give it a good hot wash before I try to work with it?

My sewing skills aren't up to much, but hey, nothing ventured nothing gained

lol sorry i know i shouldnt but your thread title is fab..

dont really know but it can be the rinse/spin rather than the wash that does it in imho?
can you get it out?

No no no!

This is what you need to do

Apparently shrunken cashmere makes lovely pencil cases for your DD christmas present

But really, do I need to give it a hot wash or is it 'done'?
