Hi
I purchased little pieces of material (cotton) from Ebay cut into stocking shapes. Approx 10 cm long.
How do I stich them and any ideas on making them look nicer? - should I stich them flat or stuff them with something to make them 3 dimensional? Or fill with sweets?
Was a little disappointed (not sure what I expected) when I recieved them.
Thank you.

I think I'd applique and machine embroid the flat pieces before sewing up and then fill with small sweets or presents ...

I found this the other day which is a failsafe applique method if you are using material that frays ...

Or even easier still, applique with felt shapes ...

Here are a few ideas for shapes etc ...

Blanket stitch the edges

Wow - thank you Counting. The dryer sheet tutorial was excellent. That is the way I am going to go.
Do you think I should do that to both sides or just the front piece of fabric?
Thanks again.

my pleasure

it is a revelatory method isn't it? - saves loads of time not having to tuck edges in

if they're small, I reckon one side would be fine ...

have fun ...
