I'm surfing the net for Christmas gift ideas.

Rosie Flo and Johnny Joe - are they as good as they look?

Rosie Flo

I think they're gorgeous, I love the details , and how decorative and witty they are; I think they really appeal to adults! My dcs are a bit old for colouring books now, but I think they could teach children to look at the details of things.

Most colouring books are really crap and crude, and these really are beautiful.

I suppose creatively children should be encouraged to draw themselves, rather than just colouring in, and these books do that because they have to add their own drawings to complete the pictures.

Oh they are really lovely!
My dd would love them. She loves colouring in and drawing.

Thanks plumandoive. I have just ordered some for 7 and 9 yr old girls who live in the USA. Last year we bought them something they already had. These look like the sort of book you could enjoy twice.

Will get one for DD when she is a bit older.

Well- I think you did well- any little girl would be delighted to receive them. And they're really unusual too.
