Is there a clever jewellery making Mumsnetter who can repair my lovely necklace?

I bought a lovely necklace from Ollie & Nic over the summer and love it as it goes with almost everything I wear. Due to a combination of both me and the kids tugging at it, the wire has snapped and all my little beads have fallen off. It happened at home so I think I have all the beads and I wondered if someone who makes their own jewellery could repair it for me?

It looks a bit like this. I know that's a bracelet but that's the idea. The wire is 40cm in length and there's a chunky heart in the middle. I only paid £20 for it but I wear it all the time and I am really missing not having it. My friend asked in the shop today and there are none left. It was much admired by my friend so, as well as repairing mine, I wonder if it would be possible to buy all the bits and make another for her and possibly also one as a spare for me? I imagine you would need to see what mine looks like first though before you could say whether that's possible.

I would happily pay for any bits needed for it and, of course, for the time involved in repairing.

Is there anyone who could help?

I know Whizzz makes jewellery. You could try to CAT her?

Hiya - I can have a go at repairing it for you.
I'd have to have a closer look & then try & source the componants in order to make another - so couldn't commit to that right now but happy to help with the repair if I can.

Most welcome, whizzz. Don't think I thanked you properly, but the stitch markers you made me are great. I was using them this week

that's great, I'd love to be able to knit something useful - I can only do plain scarves & only then if the wool is very forgiving & fluffy to hide my wonky stitches !!!

Thank you both very much. Whizz, I have emailed you.
