Hello everyone

I used to knit a lovely snuggly blanket by sirdar which has a teddy actually knit into the blanket which you stuff (hope that makes sense).

I always knit it for people having babies but alas the dog has chewed it up and I have trawled the net and ebay and rang my sirdar supplier who can remember it but cant find it.

Can anyone help

if not can anyone suggest other baby blankets that are cute when knit as I have 2 friends expecting.

any help appreciated thanks

Have you tried a search on Ravelry?

alfiemama · 03/11/2008 15:59

You need to apply to join. It takes a few days for the invitation to come through. It's Ravelry.com
Meanwhile I have had a quick look for you and there is nothing there.
I remember the pattern, it has a teddy sort of in the corner? I have had a look, I thought I might have it, but nothing. Have you appled to sirdar head office?

alfiemama · 03/11/2008 17:50

Hi DutchOma, thanks for looking for me.
I went onto the site and registered looks very busy lol

No sorry its not that one, the teddy is right in the middle. There is a border usually in a different colour then say a cream section and then the teddy in the colour of the border and you stuff it, god sorry hard to explain, but the teddy ends up 3d.

I am still enjoying your HUGE bag of knitting yarn that came a while ago, two Tombliboos are finished and the third one has got a tummy but nothing else.
Are you on Ravelry?

You pay £5 to subscribe to CAT for a year, then you can press the little envelope at the end and ask MN to send your e.mail address to the person you want to contact.
