I’ve just found out that I’ve got a spot selling my pottery, which I’m excited about but have never done this before…

Thinking I’ll need paper to wrap them in, bags maybe, a float, is it a good idea to get a card reader? Price labels. A form for emails to be added to a (currently non existent) mailing list?! Anything else? I’m probably missing loads, any suggestions gratefully received. 💕

I love your pottery. Another idea is a small bowl of sweets - lolly pops or haribo? With a frame next to it, with your details and the opportunity to win one of your items? This allows you to gather details and a good way to promote your business. I hope you do well.

Please don't put Haribo or that kinds of crap for children on your stall.

Most people just walk past anyway.

Best Christmas market is the gay one in Cologne. 😇

This is so exciting and your work is beautiful. Me and my DDs used to love craft fayres and at Christmas we always used to come home with tree decorations. So I would definitely make some little stars or something and hang them on a little battery tree with lights on as my kids would be straight to that and then I would be way more likely to buy something too. Definitely do a polite hello but then busy yourself with something else so people can have a nice unpressured look. Wishing you lots of luck!
