I'm looking for two perfect patterns...

Looking for two patterns but overwhelmed with choice. First off, some barrel leg pants which are gently barrel leg, not super voluminous. I got some linen ones and smart ones in next/m and s which are fab but I keep thinking surely I could make something like this?
The other thing is a summer dress. So many patterns are again very voluminous/maxi which overwhelms me. I prefer a smoother line, midi just past knees, just skimming rather than clingy or super baggy. I'm going to try and find some pictures to try and illustrate. If anyone knows of patterns (for a beginner who has made a few things but never put in a zip or managed to get the buttonhole to work on the machine!) I'd love to know! There's so much out there I get overwhelmed!

This dress is from Apricot but the shape is good, very simple, sort of shaped. This has a tie waist and buttons but I'd even go as far as a very simple blousier top with some elastic pulling in the waist perhaps, just nothing severe looking. Any ideas? I feel like it should be simple to find but I haven't found it yet.

I've made the Coe Trousers by Daughter Judy and think they're not too extreme, for me anyway. The Falconer pants from Helen's Closet look OK too - I follow Lauren from Guthrie Ghani and she had them for a sewing kit recently I think.

Not sure about the dress - the neckline reminds of one of the Tessuti patterns ones but can't remember the name and haven't made it - sorry.

Have you looked at the Foldline website - I use them as a first port of call when looking for something specific.

The coe trousers look pretty good! I also wonder if I could somehow make a pattern out of the linen pants I have. They have a slightly twisted seam like the coe trousers, ultimately they are pyjama pants with a twist. I'm sure there are methods for making your own patterns.
I'm after something every day which is a change from jeans.

I’ve made the Archer Pants from Matchy Matchy and really like them.

The closet core sepia pants have a very gentle barrel leg. And wonderful pockets!
