I bought the pouffe unstuffed and need stuffing suitable or an insert. Can anyone recommend something suitable?

Commenting as I’d also like to know. Mine is currently stuffed with old towels and clothes. It’s pretty solid but doesn’t have the greatest shape.

Any old clothes/rags/towels/fabric family heirlooms

I had a look online and can buy sheep’s wool but the postage is £8! Currently got two single duvets in it but it’s not firm enough.

I’ve always used kapok for stuffing pouffes.

My parents made a cylinder of coke cans taped together and wrapped a blanket around them to stuff a pouffe. Not sure if that would work with modern cans that squish easily, but you could use baked beans cans or similar?

Wow! That's ingenious!

What is that?

I used layers of foam cut to the exact size for mine . Took about 4 layers of foam , 3 the same one slightly thinner.
Got the firm i bought it from to cut it using a template with a fixed electric saw.

The tin can idea comes from
quiliters I think . I was offered bean tins same principle bound together with calico. But they were not the size I needed ( diameter) so went with the foam .
