Apparently it is this brilliant multi-purpose crafting aid that American people use for tracing patterns, making templates and printing. www.flickr.com/groups/fpstencils/

Apparently it has a waxy coating on one side?

Does it exist in the UK? Has anybody else heard of it??

But apparently it has a waxy/plasticy coating on one side? I only have 'baking parchment' in my drawer and this doesn't. I think the wax coating is supposed to melt when you iron which means you can do the t-shirt prints.

Yes, it is waxed on one side. Sometimes called Waxed Paper.
