Tips for knitting *with* a newborn/whilst breastfeeding

I'm a really keen knitter who knits most days, and also in my third trimester pregnant with my first. I'm really hoping I'll be able to continue knitting (albeit maybe a little less at the beginning due to tiredness!) once baby arrives, especially as I know lots of people talk about long stretches of bordom sitting there cluster feeding - in an ideal world I'd love if I could pick up my needles during these moments - at least sometimes.

I've been searching everywhere for info on if this is just unrealistic or if it's possible, tips on how to do this, but whenever I type my question in I just get loads of info on what to knit for newborns, not how to knit with a newborn.

Has anyone got any experience with this? I'm thinking baby-wearing may be the key?

I could knit while nursing, once I got the hang of nursing. I could definitely knit while baby slept on me.

You'll work it out! Baby wearing might help.

Crochet might be easier as you can't drop stitches in the same way.
If you really want to knit though, it's possible, especially as you are already a knitter. You'll want a breastfeeding pillow to help position the baby. No particular tips, other than making sure everything is convenient and nearby (maybe a caddy bag).
