I was thinking about perhaps doing some presents with Dd (now 2) for giving to grandparents etc. Perhaps Papier mache etc?

Any ideas?

Have you thought about making some simple sweets ie peppermint creams, coconut ice and fudge, I'm sure dd would love to help making these and then she could help decorate a box to put them in. Just an idea - although not a tooth friendly one!

They are tiny little dolls, made out of wire the same size as a pin. You make a little matchstick man then wrap the arms and legs in cotton, wrap a small amount of paper round the head and pen in some eyes, to finish, some material for a skirt. The idea is you make 7 and put them in a little box i.e a matchstick box bound with fabric. Then each might you tell the dolls your worries and put the box under your pillow, in the morning they are gone.
here
I would say it wouldn't work unless made in the right context but i'm sure a two year old can give it the magic

I can't think of anywhere particularly cheap but you could make your own by cutting off the base of tea or cereal boxes, turn them inside out to hide the print, decorate then line with tissue paper and cover with clingfilm or cellophane and a pretty ribbon.

Christmas Tree decorations. We have just some out of clay (from ELC) and we will paint once dry.
