Christmas craft kits

Won't be able to meet up in person with our family at Christmas. Looking for craft kits we could do together over Skype/zoom - like a paint and sip evening. Kids 8-10 and adults. Kids could have adult help. Various levels of crafting/artistic skill in adults. Any recommendations for kits? Christmassy would be great. I would like to send out kits with all materials to reduce hassle. I wondered about needle felted ornaments.

What a lovely idea!
How about some ornaments or a garland like the below? I've used one of her sets to make a Christmas Garland before and it comes with everything you need. You would probably need to buy a few extra needles so everyone could sew at once.

Depending on how your family is divided across the locations you could always split up a set.

That sounds fun.

Baker Ross do craft kits for Christmas. Lots of different types and you can get larger quantities for bigger groups. The bauble decorating and tea light holders might be nice for your Skype event.

The Corrine Lapierre Christmas ornaments are gorgeous, you can buy as individual kits and they would be different but themed, which would be nice. Pricey though perhaps.

Definitely recommend Corrine Lapierre’s kits, we did them as a craft day for our WI a few Christmas’s ago, we saved the patterns and bought a pack of Corinne’s felt and then all did a different one.

I got a £1 reindeer Christmas headband (think we called them head boopers long time ago) from the Works for my DGD, was actually really impressed with the quality, the only thing I did differently from the instructions was to make the spangly ‘pipe cleaner’ into a U shape and twist round the band with long bits pointing upwards, twisted it until an inch left then splayed the two bits outwards into a V and sandwiched those bits between the sticky reindeer heads.

my WI are doing the Totally Beads Christmas baubles this year, they’ve got a few other things too that may be of interest for Christmas crafting.
