Ironing Hama beads

Am I completely behind the times or has anyone else worked out that silicon oven paper is great for ironing Hama beads?

Any more hints and tips out there?

I found ordinary greaseproof stuck unless I rubbed it with a wax candle before use. Do you use the silicon stuff FioFio?

don't you just use the paper that comes with it?
and what is silicon oven paper??

Homebird8 · 04/12/2007 18:51

Sorry, I didn't mean silicon (though I did think it was like that silicon bakeware you can get), I meant teflon. You can get it from Betterware for lining your oven to catch spills (makes cleaning it easier) and for lining tins etc.

Greaseproof sticks but it does peel off easily when it cools down.

I use whatever's in the drawer in the kitchen, it all seems to work in the end

yes you shoudl use the paper that comes with it, but it gets lost after the first ironing!
greaseproof paper is used here too.
