Well I think so anyway Ocean Jasper bracelets

One for me, one for a friend's birthday & one for the school fayre.
Ocean Jasper is supposed to be soothing & combats stress, but to be honest, the colours in each bead are amazing (the pic doesn't do them justice). They remind me of pebbles on the beach

southeastastra - I am going to order some more of the ocean jasper beads as I haven't taken mine off since I made it & I would love a neacklace to match, so I can make another if you wish. I will work out costs if you want to CAT or mail me

Someone on here maybe able to help. Do you remember the really annoying advert for some chat mag or other? Old woman as a pole dancer sings 'this is the best job I ever had' young girl with baby at rugby match sings "ANyone of these could be my babies's dad" (this is going somewhere I promise) Well there's a bride on that add wearing a necklace which is almost like a collection of chokers but in varying lengths (if that makes any sense?) Anyone be able to make anything like that? I have tried and tried jewellery making and it justs defeats me. I can do most other crafts, but beads bugger me up!!

thats the kind of thing yes. with prob about 5/6 main strands. (sorry for hijacking the thread). I keep wanting to join in with you lot but

The necklace would be possible to do. Cut however many strands you want in decreasing lengths, depending on how 'drapey' you want the finished article to be. Secure the threads together at one end, thread whatever beads you wish & then secure the other ends together & fasten with a clasp.

I can have a go for you if you have something particular in mind ??

Hark at you, cut, secure, fasten etc - I did that last time I had a go - 30 mins into wearing said article there were beads flying left right and centre!!! (it was not good!!)
