DH has pointed out I have a lot of paintings and appreciates I enjoy doing them (and plan to have a stall at a local fete this summer ) I would like to selling them.

Not getting any bites on Facebook marketplace, so wondering what do people use and get results on?

I've attached images of what I do

You could have a try on eBay. It’s free to list but they take a fee if something sells.

Good luck, your work is very eye catching.

I love your work, I am sure that would sell well on Etsy.

If you do Etsy I would invest time in photos which show your product to its best advantage. Show how is it used and close ups. Use Instagram to see how others are doing lifestyle shots if you need some inspiration.

You will make more sales with social media presence and read up the latest into on the search algorithm as it changes frequently.

It's hard when you are a new seller as this is obvious on Etsy. I'd see if you can encourage some family or friends to buy and leave some reviews as this will also help.

Etsy is quite expensive for sales but once you're up and running it does gather some pace and their analytics are very useful.

OP I agree with Etsy but plug your work via Facebook groups too - NOT ON AMAZON springs to mind, and is a great platform for work like yours. I love it!

eBay for the most sales; as a top rated seller of 18 years user of eBay for success sales.
improve your photos for example a cheap photo editing suite or something like "befunky editor".
aim to list around 30 to 50 items to get going. at first auction off a few items around on a Sunday for 1 week duration.

answer messages quickly, post out the same day if you can. possibly offer to take offers.
add around 12 pictures to each item, and size the item against say a vase or ruler.

set up a 60 days no questions asked returns (hardly anyone does return items though).
research similar items, plus click on sold items for an idea of how much you can sell you item for.

If you want anymore tips then please just ask

Folksy is small but it works for me, and is cheap and easy to run.
