Candle mould recommendations?

Hi, I have been wanting to make some pillar candles as gifts for Christmas. I have a candle making kit but the finish of the candles is terrible and they are impossible to get out of the mould, even when I spray with oil, put in fridge etc.
I ordered some stearin as I think that might be the problem but it's taking forever to arrive and I don't think I'll get my candles done in time! Can anyone recommend a good pillar candle mould that it's easy(ish) to get set candles out of? I tried looking for aluminium ones but no luck. Them at least I could make two at a time.
Thanks!

I loved making candles as a kid ! , yes the stearin will make it a bit easier to get them out , or dip the mould in very hot water for a few seconds but be carful as that can spoil the gloss finish on them.
Or use rubber moulds and a frame to hold them in place , faling all that use the dip methord , this takes time but if you get your set up right you can do a lot at once .
length of dowl , tie wick to it about 4 or five inches apart , melt wax and put it in tall heat proof containers ( I used old paint tins ) stand them in hot water ( I used old pans ) and space far enough apart for you to keep dipping without the semiformed candles touching each other , dip , allow to cool slightly ( so if you pess firmly you leave a finger print ) then re-dip and keep going ,

If you put a diff colour wax in each tin you canswap them around every 10 or so dips so when they burn the will reveal the diff colours .

If you are looking for more candle making stff try Fred Aldous they are a great craft shop and very helpful, I always got all my stuff from there .

Thank you so much! I haven't tried dipping but that sounds fun!

It is fun and the fact that you can change colours makes them nice to burn .
It's messy tho ! Make sure you protect all the surrounding services with plastic black bin bags will do fine.
Don't use paper, the wax will soak through and is harder to peel off. ( to reuse . )
Marigold gloves are fun to make moulds with too .
Turn the glove inside out so the grip bit on the finger tips will look a bit like finger prints
Put a wick in each finger, carfuly pour about a tablespoon of wax into each finger while the tips of the glove are in very cold water ( stops the wax leaking out of the wick hole) then fill each finger , either with one colour or different ones.
The glove will hold more wax than you think ! So buy the smallest one you can.
Go very carful removing the glove it's easy to snap the thumb off Shock
