Knitting pattern - what does this mean?

K to 1 St before m, m1, K1, sl m, K1, m1
I get:
Knit to one stitch before marker, make 1,knit one, slip (something), knit one make one.
What do you think the sl m means?
If it's relevant it's in the raglan increase
And this gets repeated 3 times
(just starting this pattern and I'm stuck already!)

Slip marker.

sl m means slip the marker - literally just move it from one needle to the other.

So, knit until you have 1 stitch before your marker, make 1, knit 1, pass the marker from left to right needled, knit 1, make 1....carry on!

Move the marker from one needle to the next. The marker makes sure you are always increasing at the same point.

Great!!
Thanks. I'd thought it might mean slip every stitch until the NEXT marker!
This makes MUCH more sense. 👍
