...I got my first wholesale order for my toy horses (started a rabbit too...DH is not keen on the bunny but I have an order for 6 of them and 6 horses)
Like the ones on my etsy page here

I'm a bit nervous though, what if they don't sell and I never get another order? . Has anyone else got any wholesale experience for their bits?

Why doesn't your dh like the bunny? I think she's gorgeous! I do like the horses too tho' so I might keep them in mind for xmas. By that time I'll dd will be almost 3 but ds will only bejust over a year - are the horses suitable for people that small?

Greebos, I can easily make one without buttons and do embroidered and more appliqued details which makes them far more friendly for the little ones (no risk of button nibbling!). I do stitch them on very tightly but you know how sharp toddler teeth are - like little rat teeth!!! . My DS is almost 2 and he is ok with his Merrylegs horse, and the poor thing gets chucked about all over the place. I am getting quite a few nice commenta bout the rabbit, DH is still not convinced and tells me it looks scary, lol!!!! I have almost finished another one, and he says that looks like the snake from Jungle Book (the eyes apparently!).

I like alpacas, very similar to llama, I have this project that involves alpacas so I will ask you to make one for me when I finish

My lovely merrylegs arrived while I was away. Thank you so much. I had brought her to give to a friends baby but made the mistake of showing her to dd who has fallen in love with her and has been begging me all day to let her keep her.
Looks like my friend's baby will have to make do with a rattle

Been on holiday for a week so I haven't had a computer (and the one in the hotel was so slow I decided to wait til I got home to check for messages and emails!).

I'm so glad you and your sis like the llama - I really enjoyed making her, my dd now wants one

Now I've got to get back into the swing of making more things - I took my sewing away but every time I tried to do it at night when I thought baby monkey was asleep he'd pop his little ginger head up and say 'hello mama' so I didn't get much done at all

Just unpacked the case too - and I am really not looking forward to the washing
