How to stop fabric fraying

I'm wanting to cut fabric so it doesn't fray to make hair bows. I've tried interfacing which works initially then gradually frays slightly.

Do you know of a product that could be ironed / glued to a fabric that is more substantial than interfacing?

Thank you for your help 💐

Could you not hem it? Or you could use ‘fray stop’ glue along the edges

Thank you @PippilottaLongstocking
Sadly due to the shape hemming doesn't work. I will check out the glue.
It's a mystery as the bow fabric I buy has already got something on the reverse to stop the fraying. I just want to use fabric I've got rather than buying more.
The mermaid picture is bow fabric which doesn't fray and the teddy bow I've used interfacing but by the time my daughter wore it all day the fraying had begun

Ahh yes that wouldn’t be possible to hem, I think decent quality fabric glue painted onto the back of the fabric might work

Or something like this?

JPduck · 23/02/2019 21:08

Thank you @Knittedfairies that looks a great idea💐💐

Double sided iron on interfacing would help, possibly

@CuriousaboutSamphire - thanks, will check that out 💐😊

‘Fray stop’ is a product I use with quilt fabrics. It’s a type of glue I think.
