Knitting pattern for dinosaur "eating" baby sleeping bag/sack?

I would like to begin knitting again after not having done it for years. A few months ago, I saw a photo online somewhere of something I'd like to make for a friend's baby to use when the baby is born (she is currently pregnant). I have no idea where to find a pattern. I've looked online, but have had no luck. If anyone has seen anything like this, I'd love to know!

It was a sleeping sack. One version was in the form of a crocodile and one looked like a shark. The baby went inside the "mouths" where there were teeth. It probably sounds a little odd, but they were actually very cute and I know my friend would love one.

Thanks very much.

Have you tried/joined Ravelry?

I haven't. Thanks for the tip!

I agree - Ravelry is the best place to go.

This sounds awesome. Did you find it?

Pinterest is worth a look too.

This does sound cute (and looks lovely from a quick google) but I'd try and make sure you can affix some shoulder straps to it, perhaps by measuring one in a shop to see the appropriate neck hole size, and possibly do it in a 6-18 month size, rather than 0-6 months. (Or in between might work well).

I only say because it's all very strict about newborn sleep guidelines these days and it would be a shame if she never got to use it because she was worried about the baby wriggling down inside. I started to use a 6m+ one at about 4.5 months when my baby got too long for the 0-6 month ones.

Ooh or a thin one which is meant to come up to the waist like this would also work:

Definitely Ravelry - they have patterns for absolutely everything. Best knitting site on the web.
