Dressmakers dummy

My mum is enjoying making clothes again-mainly for herself. I’m thinking of getting her an adjustable dressmakers dummy for Christmas but off eBay as I can’t afford brand new. There’s so many to chose from! Any advice on a good make or what to look out for please?! Thanks in advance. Grin

Adjustoform. Should have 12 adjustable dials (4 @ bust, 4 @ waist and 4 @ hip) plus back length should also be adjustable. The cheaper John Lewis ones don't have this feature.

I don't find the neck adjuster useful . Don't use hem guide either because I basically made leotards.

Expect to pay up to £65 for a good not too old clean condition mannequin. Listings that are collection only are real bargains as that obviously cuts down the number of people able to bid.

I have 3 dressforms each a different size and two came from eBay. Only my first I bought new.

That’s just the kind of advice I was after. Thanks so much!!
