I'm sure that Rowan must have something, but I'm still not sure you could knit it for much less than 60 squid, particularly if it's in a gorgeous yarn!

ceolas · 09/04/2007 21:07

Agree with Littlefish. In a nice yarn, that would easily blow £60.

Tamum · 12/04/2007 18:28

I can't find anything like it suzy; the best I can do is this (scroll down to the cover of Cotone).

sammac · 12/04/2007 18:48

This months's issue of interweave has a lot of lacy patterns. Here is the front page with some of them. The half dollar one looks nice. I have the mag if you want to know any of the yarns.

I think she can, that's why she needs a pattern

Oi SW - where are you! We're busy chatting in your absence.

Come and be grateful. People are trying to help you

suzywong · 15/04/2007 13:49

ahem

Thanks to those trying to help me

I was probably asleep as I live in Western Australia

and Pruni, get yer facts straight and when are you going to send me an Observer Food Monthly?

suzywong · 15/04/2007 13:52

Hmmmm...very interesting, thanks for the links

I think I may have a couple of Ancient Rowan mags under the bed and I may adapt

However, what I really want to know is...is it advisable to knit bust darts/extra norkage space in to a garment? Because I always find my norks push the fabric out, natch, and this causes the back of the garment noticeably longer than the front..you see what I 'm on about? If I 'm going to do a bespoke garment I may as well get it sorted.

Littlefish · 15/04/2007 16:45

Blimey Wong - you must be sleeping beauty! Asleep for 5 days

Sorry, no idea about knitting for large norks. Mine are so large, that I daren't knit anything for myself - I couldn't afford the wool. I only knit for babies and small children!

If you can get your mitts on a copy of Big Girl Knits there's plenty of nork loving stuff in there
