Dominitrix . It's cute, there are some patterns in it that I think I might actually do. It's quite goth, but I'm gothish, sometimes, so I can see a point to it. It's got some good intro stuff in it.
I'm starting to make a sweater for DS1, as I'm still wavering about what sweater to make for me (I want set-in sleeves, but Zimmerman's plan for how to achieve set-in sleeves involves steeking, and the idea makes me nauseated). DS1's sweater will be made with albatross yarn, mostly yellow. Maybe with some red and grey? He wants detailing on the yoke. It will be knitted in the round.
Oh, I also got a book on Finishing Techniques for Hand Knitters.
And I have finally started reading the Zimmerman book, and boy is she the right author for me. Ok, less detailed than Montse, but wildly opinionated and really quite a good writer. Very warm, really quite charming, and absolutely lovely.
(Oh, and I bought Knitting Today. God knows why. Every time I buy a knitting magazine I regret it.)
