Thought you might like to know that The Guardian are doing a one off craft guide this Saturday Feb 3rd, which includes advice and craft projects for dressmaking, soft furnishings, embroidery, knitting, felting, making and revamping furniture and accessories for the home, garden crafts, recycling and craft projects for children.

Kids projects include making a glove monster - a good starter project for small craftsters, making a living willow teepee, tutu and dressing up tiara, a classic kite fido sock puppet.

Dinosaur · 05/02/2007 15:36

Cloudhopper I emailed you but it bounced back - apparently you don't have a yahoo address!

Can you check that you gave me your email address correctly?

MagicGenie · 05/02/2007 16:04

redclover79 - just emailed you x.

Cloudhopper · 05/02/2007 16:27

Me and my cryptic email address attempt! Here it is exactly:

[email protected] - just copy and paste - it should work.

THank you by the way - and sorry I can't cat you because I haven't paid the subscription.

Dinosaur · 05/02/2007 17:17

I see - I had misread it as quietly, not quitely!

Cloudhopper · 05/02/2007 20:19

An easy mistake to make as I only changed the spelling because someone already had 'goingquietlymad' on yahoo. If that makes any sense!

Ooh, only just noticed this thread, thought you were talking about next weekend...drat if anyone else doesn't want there copy and wouldn't mind posting it I'd love one!!

Oh thank you dinosaur! I am in heaven because of the Guardian craft booklet you sent me. It is like my dream supplement - I have loads of these sort of books (flea market finds etc), but nothing as remotely cool as this one.

I am trying to lift myself out of PND at the moment, and am starting up craft activities as a kind of day to day pick me up. I just can't thank you enough - such a very kind thing to do and I assure you that I will get so much use out of it. As well as a very enjoyable day today reading it and picking what to do!
