Would you sew or use double sided tape or copydex or something else?

Oes it even need hemming?
My oilcloth table cloth isn't hemmed, it doesn't fray neither does vinyl.

Letmesleepalready · 28/06/2016 20:34

Yeah, I wouldn't hem it at all tbh.

P1nkP0ppy · 28/06/2016 20:34

Oes? Does

Katymac · 28/06/2016 20:34

It needs corners as it's a cover & maybe elastic to make it sit over neatly

I wouldn't worry about hemming it. The cloths I've had have never frayed.

I have used fold over elastic on vinyl (think saddle covers, both horse and bike). It doesn't draw it in a lot tbh but it looks nice, you could always stretch elastic inside it in the corners if you have to.

This sort of stuff

Mine wasn't shiny though, came from eBay.

Katymac · 28/06/2016 20:50

Maybe it won't need elastic but it looks a bit floppy just plopped on the keyboard - corners are a must I think

I have some double sided carpet tape? I dunno...

Hot glue gun no elastic - it's like a tea-cosy
