I quilt with my normal sewing machine. Gets a bit fiddly if v large, but can manage up to a single bed size happily.

Thanks! My biggest (well, only!) piece of patchwork to date is a cushion cover sized piece so I should be fine!

Whoops, hit send too early. A walking foot will help prevent the bottom layer moving at a different speed to the top layer and stops puckering. Alternately, if you can lower the feed dogs on your machine then you can free-motion quilt instead.

you can.
as invader said, get a walking foot. it pulls the fabric through at the right rate and has the correct pressure.
