I stamped onto a vellum tag using an 'Ink it Up' black ink pad yesyerday & it just won't dry ! Any tips - anything I can do to rectify ??

it is supposed to dry, albeit slowly (I presume a pigment pad , as one you would emboss with?)

next time obv use a permanent pad, but can you emboss some clear powder over the top? Vellum will warp easily but is is possible to do, maybe practice on a scrap or two first?

Its a 'premium quick drying (yeah right!) dye based stamp pad'

I wondered whether a tiny bit of talc would do the trick. I'm a real stamping novice - I think the pad came in a set - I have no embossing stuff ..far too techinical for meGrin

try the talc- might work! If not, well you can't use it can you

The talc worked ! I will just keep an eye on it & make sure its OK - it might need a top up!

glad talc is working.
you can use a heat tool to dry ink, hold it very far enuff away from velum and kind of "waft it around"
