First I think you have to be a little computer literate, next you have to be very patient, if you are computer literate the instructions can be a little too detailed. If you miss one action your knackered.
So far I have cut happy birthday in differnt fonts & sizes
I 've created oblongs so they mount with 1cm rim you can cut three to an A4 cards I've done a square set aswell
I've cut an appature for some oblong bubble fronts for shaker cards
Thats so far
It cost £347, I got it from a distributer near me about 20miles down the A55. I got all the extras you get from the Create & Craft show
Why I went for it was when I weighed up the CriCut against the ROBO I thought the cricut was going to be £290 I think I saw it for £225 on one web site, but for £290 I know you got extras I'm not sure whether you just got the machine for £225.
The cricut was only as good as the cassete you put in it. In the US those cassetes were selling for $50 each so you can bet there going to be about £50.00 when they get here mind you I guess you could buy US
The ROBO can produce nearly all the alphabets in all sorts of size plus tonns of other things.
So far I've cut upto pealised card with no problem
Must admit I'm an impatient sod so I had to switch off and read the instructions carfully.
I'll let you know more as I go along, so far so good but if I do throw it through the window you'll be the first to know.
